A/C receiver‑drier canister for reliable Toyota cabin cooling ❄️

This HVAC filter–reservoir keeps your air conditioning clean, dry, and stable. It sits on the high‑pressure side, after the condenser and before the TXV/orifice, storing liquid refrigerant, trapping moisture, and catching debris. Built to OE spec for tight sealing and long service life.

Why you need it ?

Moisture in the circuit turns to ice, blocks the valve, creates acid, and corrodes aluminum lines. A healthy receiver‑drier protects the compressor, stabilizes pressures, and delivers fast, cold air at the vents.

How it works ?️

Refrigerant enters the canister, passes a fine mesh and desiccant beads that absorb water to ppm levels. The internal reservoir calms flow so clean, dry liquid exits to the expansion valve. Many versions include a pressure switch boss or service port.

If it fails ⚠️

Expect weak cooling, frosting at the valve, noisy or overheating compressor, pressure spikes, and dark, acidic oil. Replace any time the system is opened or the compressor is changed. Use new O‑rings, keep ports capped till install, evacuate 30+ minutes, add correct PAG oil, and recharge to spec ✅
