Why this part is needed

How it works
A belt spins the clutch pulley. When the ECU requests cooling, the clutch engages and the pump compresses low‑pressure vapor into high‑pressure gas. Heat leaves in the condenser, pressure drops at the expansion device, and chilled refrigerant absorbs cabin heat at the evaporator. An internal control valve balances flow and maintains lubrication.
What happens if it’s broken
