Blind Spot Monitoring Radar Sensor 🛡️📡

This OE-spec radar module keeps your side and rear zones protected, giving clear alerts during lane changes and reversing. Built to factory standards, it restores full Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) functions. Durable housing, precise beam pattern, and stable signal help you drive with confidence in city traffic and on the highway.

Why You Need It 🚗

Modern SUVs have large blind areas. This sensor tracks vehicles approaching from behind and from the next lane, lighting the mirror icon and sounding a warning. Without a healthy unit, your BSM/RCTA system is limited or disabled, reducing safety and comfort.

How It Works 📡

Mounted inside the rear bumper corner, the short‑range mm‑wave radar scans adjacent lanes and merges the data with the safety ECU. When a target enters the monitored zone, it triggers visual and audio alerts. The sealed design maintains accuracy in rain and light snow.

If It’s Broken ⚠️

Typical signs: BSM warning on the dash, mirror icon stuck on/off, false alerts, or no RCTA. Causes include minor rear impacts, water ingress, corroded pins, or misaligned bracket. Driving impact: reduced awareness, risky lane changes, and longer merge times.

Install & Setup 🧰

Direct bolt-on to the bracket; bumper removal is often required. Inspect wiring and clips. After replacement, perform radar calibration/aiming with a scan tool, set ride height level, clear DTCs, and road-test.
