How it works 🔧
The housing holds convex glass on a backing plate. An internal actuator (manual or electric, depending on trim) sets the angle; some versions add power-fold, turn indicator, or heater. A sealed harness carries signals, while the base gasket stops wind noise and water. The mirror pivots on a reinforced bracket to resist door slams.
When it’s damaged ⚠️
