This small exterior trim cover is needed to seal and finish the opening around the right-hand door mirror mounting area. It gives the mirror base a clean factory look and helps protect the door skin from wind, water splash, dust, and road salt.
How It Works
The cover clips/snaps into the mirror mounting recess and sits tight against the door panel. It acts like a shield and guide, helping direct airflow smoothly past the mirror base and reducing turbulence noise. It also helps keep moisture away from mounting points and nearby wiring paths.
