    How it works ⚙️

    The unit combines a rigid housing, convex glass, and a 2-axis adjuster (manual or electric, depending on trim). Some versions include heater, power fold, turn signal, memory, or BSM indicator. The door switch drives the actuator to set angle; a pivot hinge allows folding; internal damping reduces shake at speed.

    Cracked glass, wobble, or a stuck adjuster creates blind spots, glare, and unsafe lane changes. A loose housing can whistle, leak water into the door, corrode connectors, and trip errors if features (heater/BSM/indicator) are present. You may also fail inspection or receive fines.
