How it works
A compact DC servo with reduction gears turns the damper shaft inside the blower housing. The climate ECU commands a position; the built‑in feedback sensor reports angle so the door stops exactly where needed. This coordination stabilizes temperature and airflow with minimal noise.
If it fails
- Stuck on hot or cold; slow or no response to knob changes
