How it Works
A 12V motor turns through reduction gears and a feedback sensor. The climate control ECU commands a position; the actuator rotates the mode damper shaft to the requested angle. When It Fails ⚠️
Common signs: clicking under the dash, airflow stuck in one direction, weak or no defrost, intermittent mode changes, or a battery draw if the jammed motor keeps hunting. Temperature may be fine, but direction is wrong. In winter this can mean fogged glass and unsafe driving.
Fitment & Install
