Front Distance Radar Sensor for Mitsubishi

This OEM-grade forward distance unit keeps your drive safe by managing gap control and collision alerts. It supports adaptive cruise, forward warning, and emergency braking—key helpers for daily traffic and highway runs.

Why this part is needed ️

It watches the road ahead and maintains safe space to the vehicle in front. With precise data, your car can slow, hold speed, or alert you before danger builds.

How it works

Mounted behind the grille, the module emits millimeter‑wave signals, times the echo, and sends distance and relative speed to the ECU. The ECU then adjusts throttle and brakes or triggers warnings. Clean power, tight mounting, and calibration keep readings accurate.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

ACC unavailable messages, cruise dropouts, false beeps, or no forward alerts. Stopping distance may increase, and the dash may show sensor or radar misalignment codes after a minor bumper hit or water ingress.

Tech notes

Replace with care, torque brackets evenly, and perform static/dynamic calibration on level ground. Keep the emblem and grille clean.
