Subaru LHD Stereo Vision Front Camera Module 📷
This OEM front vision camera is the heart of your car’s driver-assist system. It watches the road ahead, reads lane lines, and detects vehicles and pedestrians to support adaptive cruise, lane keep, and pre‑collision braking. If you want factory safety performance and smooth cruising, this module is essential.
How it works 🔧
Two synchronized image sensors create a stereo view. The processor calculates depth and motion, then shares data via CAN with braking, throttle, and steering units. Mounted near the rear‑view mirror, it needs a clear windshield and precise calibration to judge distance in real time.
What happens if it fails ⚠️
Warnings appear: “Driver Assist Disabled,” ACC unavailable, lane functions off. You may feel late braking, false alerts, or complete feature shutdown. DTCs store, and fuel economy on highways can drop without adaptive control. After windshield replacement or front impact, misalignment causes the same issues until recalibrated.
