Why this part is needed ?️
This relay powers and controls the windshield wiper motor. It manages low/high speed, intermittent timing, and park position so blades stop at the bottom. With a healthy relay you get smooth, predictable wipes in light drizzle or heavy rain—vital for safe visibility and driving comfort.
How it works ⚡
Inside is a coil and heavy-duty contacts that switch high current to the wiper motor. A simple timing circuit creates intermittent pulses. It takes commands from the stalk switch and coordinates with the washer signal. When you turn wipers off, the park circuit keeps power until the arms reach the home position, then opens the circuit to stop.
What happens if it’s failing ?️
Symptoms include no wiper operation, only one speed, dead intermittent mode, wipers that won’t park, random starts, or blown fuses from arced contacts. In rain this can become dangerous fast. Long term, the motor may overheat or the battery may drain if contacts stick closed.

Plug-and-play fit. Disconnect battery, match pin layout and rating, seat fully in the relay block, then test all speeds and park. Inspect the wiper linkage and motor draw to prevent repeat failures.
