Left Headlamp Washer Actuator (LH)

This component is needed to power the headlamp washer system on the left side. Its job is simple but critical: it helps keep the headlight lens clean, so light output stays strong in rain, mud, snow, and dusty roads. Clean lenses mean safer night driving and better visibility for oncoming traffic too.

How it works βš™οΈ

When you activate the washer function, the actuator moves the washer mechanism and helps drive washer fluid through the nozzle. It works together with the pump, hoses, and spray jet to push fluid onto the headlamp surface, then retracts back to its home position.

Signs it’s failing & what happens if broken ❌

If this unit is worn or damaged, the washer may stop spraying, spray weakly, or the nozzle may stick out. You may also notice fluid leaks behind the bumper, extra pump noise, or one headlamp staying dirty while the other cleans.

Common results of a bad actuator

  • Reduced headlight brightness from grime buildup
  • Washer fluid wasting due to leaks or stuck operation
  • Risk of nozzle/mechanism damage if jammed
  • Potential inspection failure in regions requiring headlamp washers
