Windshield Wiper Linkage Assembly
This linkage assembly is the solid mechanical bridge between the wiper motor and both wiper arms. It is needed to keep the blades moving in a smooth, synchronized sweep so you can see clearly in rain, dust, or snow ?️. When the motor turns, the linkage converts rotary motion into a back-and-forth movement, keeping the wipers timed correctly and stopping them in the proper “park” position.
How It Works
Inside the linkage are pivot points and connecting rods. These joints transfer force evenly to each wiper shaft. A good linkage prevents chatter, uneven wiping, and arm lag, especially on heavier off-road windshields.
