Driver’s Power Window Master Control Switch
This is the driver-door command center for your electric windows. It lets you raise/lower all glass, control the driver window’s auto function, and lock out the other window switches for child safety. Replacing a tired switch restores smooth operation, convenience, and safety—no more reaching or fighting sticky buttons.
How It Works ⚡
Inside are durable contacts and a small circuit board. When you press a rocker, the switch routes current to the window regulator, reversing polarity to move the motor up or down. The lockout button disables passenger circuits to prevent accidental operation.
If It Fails
Common symptoms include dead or intermittent windows, only the driver glass working, auto-down/up lost, or windows moving the wrong way. Stuck contacts can drain the battery or overheat. Water intrusion and worn contacts cause most failures. Replace the unit if cleaning doesn’t help.
