How it works
Inside is a durable contact set and variable resistor that send signals to the A/C amplifier and magnetic clutch relay. Turn or press the knob, and the module closes the circuit, energizing the compressor, engaging relays, and illuminating the panel. Feedback prevents freeze-up, cycling the compressor to hold target temps ❄️.
If the part fails
