Steering Wheel Clock Spring (Spiral Cable) for Toyota
Why you need it
This safety part keeps power and data flowing between the steering wheel and the car body: airbag (SRS), horn, cruise, and audio/phone buttons. Without a spiral cable, wires would twist and break every time you turn. Install a new unit if you have an SRS lamp, broken plastic tabs, loss of horn, or after steering column repairs. How it works
Inside is a long, flat ribbon conductor wound in a spiral cassette. The outer shell bolts to the column; the inner rotor locks to the wheel. What happens if it fails
