This right-side rear door frame moulding is a finishing trim that sits along the door frame edge and helps the body lines meet correctly. It’s needed to protect the painted frame from scratches, cover the seam area, and support a tight, quiet door closing feel. A good trim also helps guide water away from gaps, reducing wind noise and keeping the cabin looking factory-fresh.
How It Works
The moulding mounts to the rear door frame using factory clips/tabs and alignment points. Once seated, it forms a straight, stable border around the frame area, keeping the edge protected and maintaining proper fitment with nearby weatherstrips and glass channels.
