Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Sender for Toyota
This small sensor keeps your dash needle honest. It reads engine coolant heat and feeds the instrument cluster, so you always know if the motor is cold, normal, or near hot. Without a good gauge sender, you cannot judge cooling health, towing limits, or traffic idling safety.
How it works ️
Inside is an NTC thermistor in a sealed brass body. As coolant warms, electrical resistance drops. The single-wire circuit sends a changing signal to the gauge, which moves the needle from C to H. It mounts in the coolant passage (often thermostat housing or water outlet) and grounds through its threads/seat.
