    Tailgate Lock Latch Assembly for Hyundai & Kia ??

    This rear hatch latch unit is the hard-working mechanism that keeps your tailgate closed, aligned, and secure while driving. It is needed anytime the boot/tailgate won’t shut tight, pops open over bumps, or needs repeated slams to catch. A healthy latch also supports proper sealing, helping reduce wind noise and water leaks.

    How It Works

    Inside the housing, a rotating claw grabs the striker on the body and locks into place. When you press the handle button or key/remote release, the actuator moves the internal lever to free the claw, allowing the tailgate to open smoothly. The design is made to hold load, vibration, and constant open/close cycles.
