Headlamp Retainer Clip / Bracket
This small but critical fastener holds the headlamp unit firmly in its correct position. It is needed to keep the light beam aimed properly and to stop the lamp housing from moving under vibration, bumps, and temperature changes. How It Works
The retainer locks into the headlamp mounting points and supports the assembly against the body panel. It shares load with nearby screws and guides, keeping even pressure on the lamp tabs so the lens and housing sit straight. This helps protect wiring connectors and prevents stress cracks in the headlamp frame.
What Happens If It Breaks
If the retainer is cracked or missing, the headlamp can become misaligned, rattle, or sit unevenly.
