This OEM-style ring secures the sealed-beam headlight to its bucket and trim, locking the lamp in the correct position for a stable, accurate beam pattern . Formed from corrosion-protected steel, it matches the original profile, protects glass edges, and works on either side (right or left) for easy stocking.

    Why this part is needed

    Road vibration, rust, or a minor bump can bend the original retainer. When the ring can’t clamp evenly, the lamp shifts, your aim drifts, and glare increases for oncoming traffic. Replacing a warped or flaky ring restores firm clamping force, reliable alignment, and inspection-ready lighting ✅.

    How it works

    The circular clamp surrounds the sealed-beam unit and fastens to the headlamp bucket using factory screws . Its lip centers the lamp while the screw points apply even pressure around the perimeter. That stable hold lets the adjuster screws do their job so beam aim remains precise, rain or shine.

    When the ring is damaged
