Accelerator Link Rod Assembly (No.2)
This small but critical linkage piece connects the accelerator mechanism to the throttle control path, helping your foot movement turn into smooth engine response π. It is needed to keep correct pedal travel, stable idle-to-acceleration transition, and factory throttle geometry.
How It Works
The rod transfers motion through the pedal/linkage system in a straight, controlled line. Its joints and length keep the throttle opening accurate, so the engine receives the right air/fuel demand without delay.
Why This Part Matters
A healthy link rod prevents binding, uneven return, and βdead pedalβ feel. It also protects nearby bushings and brackets from extra stress.
If Itβs Worn or Broken
