Rear Left Quarter Panel Splash Guard (Mud Flap) Assembly

This rear-side splash guard is fitted behind the wheel on the left-hand quarter area. Its job is simple: stop mud, stones, water, and road salt from being thrown onto the bodywork and underside. It helps keep paint, seams, and brake lines cleaner and reduces rust risk over time โœ…

Why this part is needed

When a tyre spins, it acts like a high-speed slingshot. This guard blocks that spray and deflects debris downward, protecting the rear bumper corner, wheel arch lip, and quarter panel edge. It also cuts down dirt buildup that can trap moisture ?

How it works

The shaped plastic/rubber panel mounts to factory holes and follows the wheelโ€™s airflow. As water and grit fly back, the guard redirects it away from the body, reducing chipping and preventing grime from packing into crevices.

What happens if itโ€™s broken

A cracked or missing guard can lead to paint chips, noisy stone impacts, faster corrosion around the arch, and more dirt on the rear door and bumper. Loose pieces may rub the tyre or flap at speed, causing annoying rattles ??

Fitment tip

Always check clips/screws and the inner liner alignment during installation for a tight, vibration-free fit.
