Exterior Body Side Moulding Set ?✨
This exterior trim moulding is made to protect and finish the vehicle’s body line. It is needed to shield the door/quarter panel edge area from small impacts, parking lot dings, and stone chips, while also giving the body a clean factory look. Many technicians replace it after minor side damage, paint work, or when the old trim has faded, cracked, or lost its grip.
How It Works
The moulding sits flush along the body contour and is held by automotive-grade clips and/or double-sided adhesive tape. It spreads light contact over a wider area and acts like a sacrificial layer, taking the first hit before the metal panel. It also helps reduce wind noise by smoothing airflow along the side surface.
What Happens If It’s Broken
