Tailgate Lock Assembly for Secure Rear Closure ?
This rear hatch lock unit is a key safety and convenience part that keeps the tailgate firmly shut while driving. It prevents the rear door from popping open on bumps, protects luggage from theft, and supports proper body sealing against dust and water.
How It Works ⚙️
Inside the mechanism, a spring-loaded latch grabs the striker when you close the tailgate. An electric actuator/motor moves the lock to the open/close position when you use the key fob, interior switch, or external handle. The lock also works with the vehicle’s central locking so every door follows the same command.
