Front Right Outer Seat Belt Assembly for Toyota 🚗
Keep your front passenger safe with a factory-spec safety restraint designed for the right-hand side. This assembly restores smooth retraction, reliable locking, and correct fit on the B‑pillar. Built for daily use and harsh climates, it delivers consistent performance and peace of mind. 🛡️
Why you need it
Seat belts are the primary restraint in a collision and required by law. Replacing a worn or damaged unit ensures the passenger is held firmly, prevents excess body movement, and helps airbags work as intended. It also fixes slow retraction, frayed webbing, or a sticking buckle. ✅
How it works
An inertia-reel spool and spring keep the webbing tensioned. During sudden deceleration or sharp tilt, the lock pawl engages the spool to stop payout. If equipped, a pretensioner tightens the belt via a micro charge to remove slack. The guide loop, anchor, and buckle sensor complete the system. ⚙️
If the part is faulty
Risks include no lock in a crash, delayed restraint, warning light on, and inspection failure. Signs: won’t retract, locks randomly, frayed or cut webbing, bent anchor, rattle inside the reel, or SRS/seat belt codes. Replace immediately after any deployment.
Install tips
Disconnect the battery 10–15 minutes before unplugging the pretensioner connector. Route the webbing correctly over the B‑pillar, torque all anchors to spec, and perform a pull-and-lock test. Do not lubricate the reel; replace rather than repair.
