Rear Tailgate Lock Control Assembly
This component is the “brain-to-lock” link for your rear door/tailgate. It’s needed to make sure the back door locks and unlocks smoothly from the key, handle, or central locking system. When everything else is fine but the tailgate won’t respond, this is often the missing piece.
How It Works ⚙️
Inside the unit, a small actuator and lever system converts an electrical signal (or mechanical input, depending on setup) into movement that drives the latch to the lock/unlock position. It synchronizes the back door with the vehicle’s locking circuit, so one command secures the whole vehicle.
