This rear door handle assembly is the part you grab every day to open the back door smoothly ?. It’s needed because the outside handle transfers your pull to the door latch, letting the latch release and the door swing open without forcing the panel.
How It Works
Inside the handle is a pivot and linkage point that pulls the latch rod/cable. When you lift or pull the handle, it moves the latch mechanism, disengaging the lock pawl so the striker can release. A good handle keeps the movement tight, aligned, and quiet.
