How It Works ⚙️
When you lower the hood, the latch hook grabs the striker and pulls the hood down to a set position. This creates correct panel alignment, reduces vibration, and supports the secondary safety catch. A good striker also helps the release cable and latch mechanism work smoothly with less effort.
