Rear Bumper Corner Extension — OEM‑style fitment ⚙️
This rear bumper corner piece completes the factory lines of your SUV and protects the outer edge from parking scrapes and road spray. It’s needed to restore original shape after minor impacts, to cover mounting gaps, and to keep dirt away from the inner bumper area. A correct, tight-fitting extension also improves airflow around the rear wheel and finishes the look of the vehicle.
How it works ️
The part is a molded ABS cover that locks onto the bumper shell via factory tabs, clips, and screws inside the wheel arch. Once seated, it follows the bumper contour, deflects water and mud from the tire, and shields wiring, brackets, and reverse sensor areas. It can also support the rear mudguard where fitted.
If it’s damaged or missing ⚠️
You’ll see panel gaps, bumper misalignment, and rattles at speed. Road spray can hit sensors and harnesses, causing faults. The exposed bumper edge may crack further, and brackets can corrode. Appearance suffers and the car may fail visual inspections.
