This rubber sealing strip is fitted along the front over-fender area to protect the joint between the fender flare and the body. It is needed to keep the wheel-arch edge tidy, reduce vibration noise, and block water, sand, and road salt from creeping into gaps where rust can start.
How It Works ?
The flexible rubber profile compresses slightly when installed, acting like a gasket. It follows the flare’s contour, absorbing small body movement and wheel-arch vibration. This helps prevent plastic trim rubbing on paint and keeps dirt from packing behind the flare during off-road use.
