Front Wheel Arch Over-Fender Rubber Seal
Designed for the front fender edge, this rubber over-fender seal closes the gap between the wheel arch trim and the body panel. Itβs a small part with a big job: keeping your arch area neat, quiet, and protected from road abuse β
Why this rubber seal is needed
The wheel well is constantly hit by water, sand, salt, and stones. This seal adds a flexible barrier that helps stop spray and grit from creeping behind the fender lip, reducing corrosion risk and paint damage over time.
How it works
The molded rubber profile follows the arch contour and compresses against the trim/body when installed. It absorbs vibration, cushions contact points, and helps guide water away from seams so the area stays tighter and cleaner
What happens if itβs worn or broken
Cracked or missing rubber can lead to rattles, loose-looking trim, more dirt buildup behind the fender, faster paint chipping, and increased chances of rust starting at the arch edge. In wet climates, that trapped moisture can become a real headache β οΈ
Best time to replace
Replace during fender trim work, after minor impacts, or when you see shrinking, hardening, or tearing for a factory-like fit and finish.
