Information
Remote Door Lock Transmitter Key for Mitsubishi SUVs
Keep your vehicle secure and convenient with this OEM-style remote locking key fob. It operates the central locking system, panic/alarm, and can trigger tailgate unlock on supported trims. Strong signal, durable shell, and stable electronics make it a reliable daily companion .
Why you need this part
Over time, buttons wear, cases crack, and circuits fail. A fresh transmitter restores one‑touch lock/unlock, improves range, and protects the alarm system. It’s a must after water damage, lost remote, or intermittent response.
How it works ️
When you press a button, the fob sends a coded RF signal to the vehicle’s receiver. The immobilizer/BCM checks the rolling code; if valid, it actuates door locks and arms/disarms the alarm. A coin-cell battery powers the board and antenna.
If the transmitter is faulty ⚠️
You may see short range, delayed locking, random alarm triggers, or no response at all. In cold weather it can work only near the door. A dead unit forces manual key use, can leave doors unlocked, and may drain the battery if buttons stick.
Install and setup tips ✅
Use a quality CR-series battery . Program with a scan tool or on‑car procedure per service manual. Keep other remotes away during pairing. Check buttons and seal for water resistance.
