This release cable is a small but critical link between your hand lever and the front floor lid lock. How It Works ⚙️
When you pull the release handle, the inner steel wire slides inside its protective outer sleeve. That movement transfers force to the lock mechanism, lifting the latch and allowing the lid to pop free.
