Why this part is needed

How it works ⚙️
A shaped EPDM rubber lip with a metal spine clips onto the door flange. As the window goes up and down, the lip wipes contaminants off the glass, while the outer edge deflects rain and reduces turbulence ️.
What happens if it’s broken
Cracks or shrinkage cause whistles, streaked glass, wet trim, and accelerated rust at the belt line. Water can reach the regulator and speaker, leading to slow windows, motor strain, and costly repairs.
Install notes
