Intermediate Steering Link for Hyundai/Kia Light Trucks ?
This safety-critical link connects the upper steering column to the steering gearbox. It uses splined, telescopic tubing and precision U-joints to transmit your steering input with zero play. It also absorbs vibration and compensates for chassis flex, keeping the wheel feel tight and accurate.

How it works ⚙️
A pair of sealed U-joints and a splined shaft create a compact, collapsible link. Pinch-bolt yokes clamp onto the column and gearbox input. Properly greased splines and tight bearings keep steering smooth and direct.
When worn or broken ⚠️
Clunking, notchiness, free play, wandering, crooked wheel, and vibration. A seized joint can bind steering; stripped splines or a cracked yoke can cause sudden loss of control and rapid tire wear.
Install notes ?
Center wheel/box, align splines, use new pinch bolts, torque to spec, then verify full, bind-free rotation.
