    Steering Column Intermediate Shaft for Kia/Hyundai Light Trucks

    This direct-fit intermediate steering shaft links your steering wheel to the steering gear. It is needed to transfer driver torque accurately while isolating road shocks. Built with splined ends and precision U-joints, it keeps the wheel feel tight and safe under heavy loads and daily work use.

    How it Works ⚙️

    The shaft’s telescopic body and universal joints correct angles between the column and the steering gear. It compensates for body/frame movement, transmits rotation with low friction, and collapses in a crash for safety. Anti-corrosion coating and tight needle bearings maintain smooth motion.

    Why Replace It ❗

    Wear in splines or U-joints causes play, clunks over bumps, vibration, heavy or notchy steering, and poor return-to-center. In extreme cases the joint can bind or slip, risking loss of control. Replacing restores precise steering and eliminates noise.
