Rear Sway Bar Link (Right Side)

This suspension link is a small but critical connector between the rear stabilizer bar and the suspension arm on the right side. It is needed to keep the vehicle flat and controlled when cornering, braking, or driving over uneven roads. Without a healthy link, the stabilizer bar cannot do its job, and the car feels loose and noisy.

How It Works βš™οΈ

Inside the link are tight ball-joints that pivot as the suspension moves up and down. When the body starts to lean, the stabilizer bar twists and the link transfers that force to the suspension, reducing roll. This improves steering stability, tire contact, and overall ride confidence.

Symptoms of a Worn or Broken Link

If the joints wear out or the rod bends, you may hear clunking from the rear over bumps, feel extra body roll, or notice a β€œwandering” rear end in fast turns. A failed link can also cause uneven tire wear and extra stress on stabilizer bar bushes and shocks.
