This rear right trailing arm bushing keeps the back wheel aligned and the ride quiet. It links the trailing arm to the body/subframe, absorbing bumps and road vibration while holding toe and wheelbase steady. How it works
An outer steel shell is press-fitted into the arm. A bonded rubber core with an inner sleeve lets the arm pivot smoothly as the suspension moves up and down. The rubber isolates noise and harshness, while the sleeve guides controlled movement so the wheel doesn’t shift under braking or cornering.
Why you need it
With age, the rubber cracks or softens. That leads to clunks on bumps, rear “steer” feel, uneven tire wear, shaky braking, and alignment that won’t hold. If the bushing splits, the arm can move metal-on-metal, damaging brackets and accelerating tire wear—hurting safety and comfort ️.
Tech notes
Press-in fit; install on the right-hand side. Torque fasteners at ride height. An alignment is recommended after replacement. Inspect other rear links and bushings; replacing in pairs keeps handling balanced ✅.
