Why this part is needed
This bushing sits between the rear control arm and the subframe. It absorbs road shocks, keeps toe and camber steady, and prevents metal-to-metal contact. With a healthy bushing, the rear axle tracks straight, tires wear evenly, and the cabin stays quiet.
How it works
A steel outer shell is bonded to an inner sleeve with durable elastomer. The rubber twists slightly under load, allowing controlled arm movement while filtering vibration. No grease is required; the bonded design works dry and resists corrosion. Proper stiffness restores factory handling and braking stability.
What happens if itβs worn or broken
Expect clunks on bumps, rear-end sway in corners, steering correction on highways, and uneven tire wear (feathering/inner wear). Poor alignment may not hold, ABS/ESC can feel intrusive, and braking distances can increase. Driving long with a torn bushing can damage the arm and tires. β οΈ
