Rear Trailing Arm Bushing for Hyundai/Kia city cars
This rubber–metal mount sits in the rear trailing arm and keeps the wheel steady under load. It absorbs road shocks, keeps toe and camber in spec, and stops vibration from reaching the cabin. A fresh bushing returns quiet ride, sharp handling, and even tire wear.
Why this part is needed
Over time rubber dries, cracks, and loosens. City potholes and speed bumps speed up wear. Replacing the bushing restores suspension geometry and braking stability, and prevents costly tire and hub damage.
How it works
The inner sleeve is clamped to the body bracket; the outer sleeve is pressed into the arm. The elastic core twists slightly as the arm moves, acting like a hinge and damper in one. This isolates noise while keeping the wheel aligned.
If the bushing is worn or broken ⚠️
- Clunking at the rear, especially over bumps
- Rear-end sway, steering correction at speed
- Uneven or fast tire wear
- Longer braking distance, MOT/inspection fail
Install tips ️
- Press-fit only; do not hammer
- Torque bolts at normal ride height
- Check both sides; align wheels after
