Front Suspension Bump Stopper (OEM-Grade) ️
This front bump stopper is a small but critical suspension limiter. It is needed to protect the shock absorber, spring, and upper mount when the vehicle hits deep potholes, speed bumps, or carries heavy load. Without it, the suspension can “bottom out” metal-to-metal, creating harsh impact and faster wear.
How It Works ⚙️
Installed on the front suspension, the stopper is made from high-density elastomer that compresses at the end of suspension travel. It acts like a progressive cushion: the more it compresses, the more it resists. This helps keep wheel control stable and reduces noise and vibration during full compression events.
What Happens If It’s Worn or Broken ❗
A damaged stopper may cause clunking on big bumps, harsh ride, shock leaks, bent mounts, and uneven tire wear. Over time, repeated bottoming can shorten shock life dramatically and increase repair cost.
