Right‑Hand Front Suspension Anchor Arm (Tension Rod) ?

What this part does

This RH (passenger‑side) anchor arm is a key link in the front suspension of classic Nissan body‑on‑frame trucks and SUVs. It ties the chassis to the lower control arm through durable bushings, controlling fore‑aft wheel movement, holding caster angle, and keeping steering stable under braking and over bumps.

Why you need it ?

When the original arm or its bushings age, bend, or corrode, alignment drifts and the vehicle wanders. You may feel brake dive, harsh impacts, or a pull to one side. Replacing this arm restores factory geometry, straight‑line tracking, and even tire wear—vital for towing, off‑road, and daily use.

How it works ⚙️

A forged rod bolts to the frame bracket and the lower control arm. The bushings flex slightly so the suspension can pivot, yet they resist fore‑aft movement. This keeps the wheelbase constant, maintains caster, and spreads braking and pothole loads safely into the frame.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

Expect clunks, shimmy, crooked steering wheel, and feathered tires. In severe cases the wheel can shift rearward, stressing the control arm and sway bar, increasing stopping distance, and risking loss of control. Replace in pairs and align after installation.

Install tips ?

Direct‑fit piece. Use new hardware, torque at ride height, then perform a full alignment.
