Front Wheel Arch Extension Pad — Fender Flare Cushion Seal

This precision pad sits between the front wheel arch extension (fender flare) and the body. It cushions the trim, seals the gap, and keeps noise down. It’s the small part that prevents big problems. 🔧🛡️

Why you need it

Road grit and off‑road spray attack the arch edge. The pad spreads load, stops paint rub, blocks water and dust, and stabilizes the flare at speed. It also cuts squeaks and rattles caused by vibration. 🚙

How it works

A molded EPDM/foam profile follows the arch contour. OE-style clips or pressure adhesive lock it in place; light compression forms a weather-tight barrier and isolates the flare from the painted panel.

What happens if it’s broken

You’ll hear chirps/creaks, see a visible gap, and notice muddy streaks. The flare can loosen, paint can wear through to bare metal, and corrosion may start around the lip. Cabin noise rises and the liner traps grit and moisture. 💧🔊

Install tips

Lift the front corner, remove old residue, test-fit dry, then press from the reference point outward. Tighten fasteners to spec and avoid high‑pressure washing for 24 hours. Typical time: 20–40 minutes with basic tools.
