Hood-to-Front Panel Weatherstrip for Toyota

This hood seal closes the gap between the bonnet and the front end panel (radiator support). You need it to block water, dust, and hot/cold air from entering the engine bay. It keeps the airflow through the radiator efficient, lowers wind noise, and prevents paint wear along the hood edge. Perfect replacement when the old rubber is cracked, flattened, or the clips are loose.

How it works

Built from UV-resistant EPDM foam, the weatherstrip compresses when the hood shuts, creating a tight barrier. It guides air over the condenser and radiator instead of leaking around them, boosting fan efficiency and stabilizing engine temps. The seal also damps vibration, reducing squeaks and helping the hood sit evenly.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

With a failed front panel seal you may see water trails on the radiator support, dirt and leaves in the bay, corrosion on latches, and a whistling noise at speed. Cooling performance can drop in traffic, and the hood edge may rub metal and chip paint. Replace as soon as you notice tears, hardened rubber, or missing retainers.

Quick install tips

Remove old clips, clean the channel, press the new strip evenly, and confirm smooth hood closing. No special tools needed—OEM-grade fit for Toyota.
