Front Differential Support Bracket (No.2) for rugged 4x4 use

Why you need it

This mount secures the front differential to the subframe, holding the correct pinion angle and keeping CV axles straight. It cushions drivetrain shock and road impacts, cutting vibration and protecting gears. A solid support bracket keeps your 4WD smooth, quiet, and aligned on- and off-road.

How it works ⚙️

A high-tensile steel bracket with a bonded rubber insulator bolts to the crossmember at the No.2 position. The steel carries torque loads; the rubber isolates noise and harshness. During acceleration, braking, and 4H/4L shifts, it limits differential movement so gear mesh stays precise and axle shafts run true.

What happens if it’s worn or broken

Expect clunks on take-off, thuds on gear changes, steering shimmy, and harsh 4WD engagement. Misalignment can tear CV boots, wear splines, and stress the pinion seal—causing oil seep and gear whine. In severe cases the diff nose drops, hitting the skid or crossmember, cracking the housing or snapping bolts, even losing front drive. Visual signs: torn rubber, separated bushing, bent ears, sagging unit, rusted hardware.

Tech tips

Direct bolt-on. Support the differential with a jack, align dowels, use new bolts, and torque to spec. Pair with fresh bushings for best NVH. Corrosion-resistant finish and OEM-grade rubber ensure long service life.
