Left Rear Bumper Side Support for Toyota Prius Family
This OE-style LH bracket secures the rear bumper cover to the body, keeping clean gap lines and proper shape. Why you need it ✅
Without a solid side support, the bumper corner sags, rubs paint, and can unclip over speed bumps. Replace after minor impacts, clip wear, or when the bumper has been removed and no longer locks in cleanly.
How it works
The bracket bolts to the quarter panel. The bumper cover slides onto molded rails; teeth and guides lock the edge in place, spreading load into the body shell. This maintains alignment and helps the bumper absorb small stresses without popping out.
If broken or worn ⚠️
Expect uneven gaps, a loose bumper tip, buzzing noises, and the corner lifting at highway speed or in a wash. Water and dirt may enter, and parking sensors (if fitted) can misalign. Prolonged driving can crack the bumper tabs.
Fit and install
Left-hand (driver side in LHD). Direct replacement; usually 10–20 minutes with a 10 mm socket. Test-fit before final fastening.
