Front Bumper Side Support (Left)
This left-hand bumper side support keeps the front bumper aligned with the fender and headlamp area. It locks the cover in place, holds the corner shape, and spreads small impact loads so clips and paint do not crack. If you had a light knock or the bumper corner is loose, this bracket is the usual culprit.
Why you need it β
Proper support gives factory panel gaps, quiet driving, and stable mounting for trims, liners, and fog/parking accessories. It prevents the bumper from sagging and stops stress from moving to more expensive parts.
How it works
The bracket fixes to the body with screws and engages the bumper cover via tabs and slide clips. Its geometry sets the corner height and angle, so the bumper edge matches the fender and grille. Impact-resistant plastic resists heat and vibration.
What happens if broken β οΈ
Expect loose bumper corners, uneven gaps, rattles over bumps, rubbing on paint, wind noise, and the cover popping out at highway speed. Misaligned corners can also affect headlight-to-bumper seams and sensor bezels.
Install tips
Bolt-on swap. Remove wheel-arch liner clips, support the bumper corner, replace the bracket, then seat the tabs and tighten evenly. Check gap to fender and lamp before final torque. Replace any worn clips for best hold.
