Rear Body Mount Bracket for Toyota SUVs
This heavy-duty rear body mount bracket anchors the tail of the body shell to the ladder frame. It centers the rear crossmember, keeps bumper and tailgate gaps true, and transfers towing and cargo loads safely into the chassis. Off-road or on-road, it preserves alignment and cuts cabin vibration for a quieter, tighter feel.
Why you need it
Replace corroded, bent, or cracked mounts to stop clunks, restore ride quality, and prevent sheet-metal fatigue. A fresh bracket maintains correct rear ride height, protects surrounding bushings and bolts from over-stress, and keeps geometry factory-correct after hard use, rust, or impacts.
How it works
Formed high-tensile steel supports a rubber/PU isolator and a sleeve for the through-bolt. On bumps, the bracket spreads vertical and torsional loads into the frame, while the isolator filters noise and harshness. Proper torque clamps the sleeve without crushing the bushing, keeping the body square to the frame.
When it fails
Expect squeaks, rear shudder, uneven tailgate gaps, bumper misalignment, wandering under load, and fast bushing wear. Severe rust can let the body drop at the rear, risking fuel-tank shield rub and exhaust contact.
