Front Right Outer CV Boot Kit (Wheel Side) ️
This kit is needed to seal and protect the outer CV joint on the front axle, right-hand side. The boot keeps high-temperature grease inside the joint and blocks water, sand, and road salt from entering. A healthy boot means smooth power transfer to the wheel during steering and suspension movement.
How it works ⚙️
The flexible rubber boot expands and folds as the axle turns and angles. Inside, fresh grease lubricates the joint bearings while clamps lock the boot tightly to the axle and joint housing. This keeps the joint cool, quiet, and long-lasting even under heavy load.
What happens if it’s damaged ❗
When the boot cracks or leaks, grease throws out and dirt grinds in. You may notice clicking on turns, vibration on acceleration, or grease splashed around the wheel well. If ignored, the CV joint can seize or fail, leading to loss of drive and costly axle replacement.
